About Elly & Morten

The owners of 1257° are both graduates of the Danish Design School and bring many years of experience in ceramic and glass craftsmanship to. Elly also holds a masters degree in ceramics from the Royal College of Art in London.

Together, they have established a workshop in Amager that is a creative space for ceramicists and a vibrant hub for community, craftsmanship and collaboration.

Through exhibitions, curated events and their annual Christmas market, they share their expertise and support local makers advance their skills and make their creations happen.

They have also created a member-focused shop showcasing and selling handmade ceramics produced in 1257°, further fostering a thriving creative culture.
